5月12日已经过去将近10天，全国捐款捐物的高潮仍在继续，众志成城，抗震救灾的精神仍在传播！而在此刻我们还有什么能做的？
我们要站起来，向全世界证明，中华民族愈挫愈勇的精神不灭！灾难无法阻止我们前进的步伐！！如果你也和我们有相同的想法，那么，请将此帖尽可能的传播出去，转给你的留学生朋友，转给你的外国友人们，尽可能的让他们知道我们的志愿者网站，读到我们志愿翻译的那些故事！！
救灾需要资金，灾区的重建更需要资金，无论是来自国内还是国外！我们组织的很多成员曾尽其所能地联系外国友人商量捐助事宜。而他们除了从主流媒体看到那些日益�甓壇�冰冷数字外，根本无法深入了解这场灾难背后感人肺腑的故事，由此，他们愿意提供的帮助也是有限的。
而我们要做的，正是提供这样一个平台——用最普通的民间视角去看待，去感悟这场人间浩劫！我们需要去争取每一份可能的海外援助资金！！我们更想通过这些事迹来树立起一个民族巍然屹立的国际形象！！！在北京奥运即将到来的日子里，只有凝聚力才是灾后的一剂强心针！！！
多少伤，多少痛，我们背得起，华夏子孙的不屈不挠是由历史证明过的。中国不相信眼泪！悲惨，也许能博得同情，但我们却要以坚强，让全世界为中国感动！

We would appreciate it greatly if these stories could be forwarded to your friends, who may only know the death toll of these earthquakes. The predicted death toll is up to 50,000. It is a great tragedy, but everyone lost to us are not just mere numbers. They are lives, they are places that we have walked in, people we have talked to, air that we have breathed. We are connected by blood. They are not just numbers.
We hope to let more people know more about this period of struggle, beyond the death toll and financial damage. If these stories touch you, we hope you could respond in some way.
